From Richard Nordquist:

Greetings, fellow writers. These pages provide articles and exercises designed to help us become more effective and confident writers. We'll practice building sentences, organizing paragraphs, and developing various kinds of essays and reports. Along the way, we'll take a playful look at the English language, tinkering with syntax, splitting a few infinitives, and exploring some of the dark secrets behind our favorite words. Welcome to Grammar and Composition!
