By Richard Nordquist:
Welcome to About.com Grammar and Composition, where you'll find articles and exercises designed to help you become a more effective and confident writer. Together we'll practice building sentences, organizing paragraphs, and developing various kinds of essays, articles, and reports. Along the way, we'll take a playful look at the English language, tinkering with syntax, splitting a few infinitives, and exploring some of the dark secrets behind our favorite words.

Review copies of books should be sent to me at the Office of Liberal Studies, Armstrong Atlantic State University, Savannah, GA 31419 (not to the About.com office in New York City).
